SCHOLARSHIP

Continuing education is important to our organization and in our field.  Not only do we provide continuing educational opportunities to our members during our monthly general meetings and seminars, but also at the “ground level”.  Each year in April, the Lincoln Legal Professionals Association awards a scholarship to a Nebraska resident who wishes to further his or her education in the legal support field and who carries a cumulative 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).   The amount of the scholarship varies year to year, as determined by the LLPA Board of Directors, and is available to new and returning undergraduate college students.
Upon proof of enrollment, the scholarship funds will be paid directly to the educational institution in two payments, one for the fall semester/quarter and one for the spring semester/quarter. If the winner is unable to meet the criteria above, the award or any unused balance thereof shall be returned to LLPA.
